There is a bit of a <em>gotcha<\/em> though.  As Solaris hasn&#8217;t got boot support for ZFS yet, there is an issue in that you <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/docs.sun.com\/app\/docs\/doc\/819-5461\/6n7ht6qsm?q=zone&amp;a=view\" target=\"_blank\">cant upgrade<\/a><\/strong> a zone if its root is sitting on a ZFS volume.  I hear that the next release of Solaris (07\/07?) will have ZFS boot support and will fix this issue. <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.solarisinternals.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Solaris Internals<\/a><\/strong> has lots of great info.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Upside: good granular resource management. efficient disk usage.
